More than 70 employees are in charge of food quality and safety at Crop's. This team of specialists works daily to deliver on the highest standards for our industry, retail, and foodservice clients.
Quality and safety controls from farm to table
We are in charge of the entire supply chain. This means that quality efforts begin already in the fields and extend to processing vegetables in our factories, packing them, and ensuring proper transportation. This involvement in every step is also important for our products' traceability.
Eliminating residues
Our agronomists work closely with the farmers to optimise the use of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilisers. This is possible thanks to precision agriculture techniques such as drone footage and satellite imagery. We work actively towards eliminating residues
Foreign body elimination
Thanks to optical sorters, x-rays, and metal detection equipment, we are able to eliminate foreign bodies from our products and ensure food safety for consumers.
Controls and audits
We adhere to the highest quality standards when it comes to our industrial process. The GFSI certification of all our production plants is a good proof of that. Next to that, we also regularly control the sites of our partners to make sure that everyone involved in the Crop's supply chain works towards the same top quality.
